To support our team, we are looking for an immediate start for a:
Field Service Technician / Field Service Representative (m/f/d) – French Navy – Electronic Warfare Systems
Location: Brest (FR) and Toulon (FR)
The position
Your future responsibilities:
- Installation, assembly, maintenance and repair of electrical components, subassemblies or complete Electronic Warfare systems on naval vessels
- Troubleshooting and fault rectification
- Application and implementation of all safety and quality standards
- Integration & system testing: planning and execution of system-level integration tests; support during acceptance processes and documentation of test results
- Documentation of test reports, maintenance reports, etc.
- Assignments in military security areas such as naval bases or shipyards, with a focus on French naval bases in France (security clearance by authorities required)
- Assignments on naval ships at sea, with possible need for boat and helicopter transfers to ship units
- Working in international teams in a challenging maritime and military environment, including demanding working conditions
Your profile
- Completed vocational training as an electronics technician for industrial engineering (or similar), mechatronics technician, electrical engineering technician or comparable qualification
- Analytical and structured working approach with strong problem-solving and implementation skills
- Extensive professional experience in independently handling projects
- Hands-on mentality
- Strong team spirit and excellent communication skills
- Fluent language skills in French (native speaker) and good English level (minimum B1/B2)
- Several years of experience with naval Electronic Warfare systems or service time in the French Navy or shipyards in the field of electronic systems is an advantage
- Residence in the greater area of Toulon or Brest is required
- Good physical fitness and resilience due to the physical demands of field service assignments
